VITAC HIRES MAGGIE McDERMOTT AS DIRECT OF SALES, WEST COAST

North Hollywood, CA - October 16, 2008 - VITAC, the nation's leading provider of closed captions, subtitling and other accessible media services, today announced the hiring of Maggie McDermott as Director of Sales, West Coast. Ms. McDermott will direct all new sales in the region and focus on customer growth, providing solutions for new media captioning, localization and subtitling, scripting and audio description solutions.

Ms. McDermott joins VITAC with twenty years of media experience in the corporate, entertainment and nonprofit industries, including positions at MGM, Playboy TV, DirecTV, Cine Magnetics Digital and Video Labs and TransPerfect Translations. "Maggie has extraordinary and broad experience in media sales, operations and marketing," said Jim Ballard, VITAC's Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
