Internet Captioning
VITAC’s accessibility and localization solutions for broadcast television and home video can be applied easily to Internet video. Whether adding English captions to a RealPlayer webcast or Arabic subtitles to a Flash video, VITAC’s Internet Captioning solutions make your video accessible to a wider audience.
Realtime Captioning
Using proprietary software, VITAC works with webcasters to stream caption files via IP or standard phone line. The resulting caption file is displayed using the accessibility functions of individual players or as opened captions.
Offline Captioning and Subtitling
VITAC delivers offline caption files or subtitles in English or Spanish in formats for use with Windows Media Player, QuickTime, RealPlayer or Flash. Customers provide their video via FTP, eliminating shipping costs and hastening turnaround.
Audio Description
Audio description can easily be added as a second audio track to nearly any online video, making accessibility for blind and low-vision browsers a quick and easy solution.
