Caption and Subtitle Encoding

VITAC encodes captions and subtitles to any format: analog video, HD video or digital files like MPEGs or Flash files. Attention to detail and qualified technicians create encocded masters or files with flawless precision.

Realtime Captioning Technical Support

VITAC’s engineers walk customers through the realtime captioning process step by step, whether setting up a one-time event with a rental encoder and two POTS lines or guiding a local news station to receive captioning via IP. In all cases, testing is performed well in advance of the event or program to be certain all technical systems are in place.

Troubleshooting

VITAC’s systems and engineering support staffs have years of combined experience in captioning and subtitling and are able to troubleshoot any customers’ captioning concern, any time of day.

V-Chip

V-Chip programming can easily be added to realtime caption data as a show is captioned live. VITAC offers this service, which adds content advisories to television viewers during a television program.
